FOLLOW-UP SERVICES
- Comprehensive assessments of the skill levels and service needs
- Interviewing and evaluation to identify employment barriers and goals
- Development of an individual employment plan (IEP), to identify the employment and training goals
- Group counseling - e.g. Workshops, Job Fairs, etc.
- Individual employment and training counseling
- Career planning
- Skills development to prepare for employment or training activities, including:
- Continuing education
- Communication
- Interviewing
- Punctuality
- Personal maintenance
- Professional conduct
- Information on apprenticeships, internships and work experience that are linked to careers
FOLLOW-UP SERVICES
- Counseling individuals about the workplace
- Contacting individuals or employers to verify employment
- Additional career planning and counseling for the individual
- Supportive and additional follow-up services, as needed
